The NAMI Chippewa Valley Board is pleased to announce that we are launching a fund-raising campaign to establish an office in Eau Claire. Our goal is to expand our programs within the Chippewa Valley and to increase our presence and visibility. We want to be known as the community mental health resource for our communities. Having a centralized location will allow us to have all of our classes, programs and resources available in one location versus our current system of utilizing various changing locations across town. WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! Our funding goal is $25,000 to allow us to establish an office for the first year, this includes rent, utilities, insurance, furniture, possible remodeling, signage, and advertising. We are the only community resource providing support, education and advocacy for families of individuals living with a mental illness. It is recognized that family support and education is fundamental to early identification, effective intervention and long term well-being of children, youth and young adults living with a mental health condition. This is your chance to make a difference for these families and yours by supporting us in this campaign. We have several ways to donate to our campaign:
(1) Send a check to NAMI Chippewa Valley, PO Box 0984, Eau Claire, WI 54702.
(2) Click on the Donate Button below.
We also are partnering with the Prevent Suicide Coalition of the Chippewa Valley to co-host the new Sharing Hope Walk to Prevent Suicide on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Form a team or come as an individual, some proceeds from the walk will be used to fund our office campaign. All proceeds from the walk will be used for projects in the Chippewa Valley. Walk will be held at Carson Park in Eau Claire. More information is available on their facebook page:
